Layla Shahmohammadi started performing under the moniker Lunalay in March of 2025. Growing up in Southern Colorado, Lunalay found herself singing and playing music wherever she could. Since leaving home, she’s wound up in cities across the world and is now planted in Nashville. Her musical style is inspired by the sounds of Lianne La Havas, Moses Sumney, Mark Barlow, Stephen Day, and Lake Street Dive. Her debut EP “Lunalay” slated to release early 2026.
